Barazone is a medicated leave-on conditioner for dogs that has been designed to topically treat the symptoms of Canine Atopic Dermatitis, contact allergy, and other pruritic conditions.
The active ingredient used is Budesonide, a glucocorticoid which shows localised activity at the site of application. Budesonide has prolonged retention in target tissues, meaning it is long-acting, which is ideal for skin conditions that are pruritic, as it reduces the need for re-application. Barazone is non-greasy and absorbs into the skin without leaving residue or matting your dog’s hair.
How to use:
- Apply once a week to your dog’s damp coat after being washed.
- Prime Barazone by firmly pressing on the pump several times until the conditioner appears.
- Wearing gloves, pump the required amount onto your hand.
- Initially, apply a smaller portion of the dose to the area that is mostly affected, before applying the rest to other areas in need.
- Make sure you massage the conditioner into your dog’s fur until it has clearly reached the skin.
- Ensure you carefully avoid your dog’s eyes and mouth.
Dosage:
One pump of Barazone dispenses 1.5g. Please follow your veterinarian’s instructions for the correct dose for your dog’s needs.
