How to feed
Feed as a snack or treat as part of a healthy diet. These are a treat rather than a complete food, so they sit alongside your dog’s normal meals rather than replacing any of them. As a rule of thumb, treats are best kept to about a tenth of your dog’s daily calories, and the main meal reduced a little on days when there have been a few extra.
Always provide fresh drinking water, and supervise your dog with any treat.
Storage
Reseal the pouch and store in a cool, dry place.
Frequently asked questions
Is carob safe for dogs?
Yes. Carob is a common stand-in for chocolate in dog treats. It gives a similar flavour and colour but contains none of the theobromine that makes chocolate toxic to dogs.
Does it contain peanut butter?
Yes, peanut butter is the second ingredient. Worth knowing if your dog reacts to peanuts, or if there is a peanut allergy in the household.
How many can I give?
Each biscuit is about 12 kcal. How many suits depends on your dog’s size and daily intake, so treat them as part of the day’s calories rather than an extra.
Are they suitable for puppies?
