Description
Don’t guess – weigh your pets food! What actually matters for your pet is weight, and the two are not the same thing: the same cup of kibble can vary by a surprising margin depending on the shape and density of the biscuit, and every feeding guide on the back of a bag is written in grams.
This measuring spoon puts a digital scale in the handle, so you weigh the portion in the act of scooping it. No bowl on the bench, no scale to get out, no maths.

Why weighing matters
Portion creep is one of the easiest things to get wrong and one of the easiest to fix. A generous scoop twice a day adds up quickly, and because it happens gradually it tends to go unnoticed until a weigh-in at the clinic. Feeding to the gram takes the guesswork out, and it makes a vet’s feeding plan something you can actually follow at home rather than approximate.
It is just as useful in the other direction, for cats and small dogs where a daily ration is small enough that a few grams either way is a meaningful share of the day’s food.

Frequently asked questions
What can I weigh with it?
Dry food and treats, powdered supplements, and liquids up to 800ml. It is food grade and BPA free, so it is fine for human food too.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
The packaging does not say it is dishwasher safe, so hand wash the bowl with the handle removed and keep the handle out of water altogether.
Does it come with a battery?
Yes, a CR2032 3V cell is supplied. There is a plastic tab over the contacts that needs pulling out before first use.
Why does the display keep switching off?
It powers down automatically after a minute of inactivity to preserve the battery. Press the on/off button to wake it.
Can I use it to measure out medication?
It is designed for portioning food rather than dosing medicines. Follow your veterinarian’s instructions and use the syringe or measure supplied with the medication.
Will it help my overweight pet?
Accurate portions make a feeding plan easier to stick to, which helps. If your pet needs to lose weight, work out the target and the daily amount with your veterinarian first, then use the spoon to feed it consistently.
