Recommended For
- Royal Canin Glycobalance is recommended for adult dogs with:
- Diabetes mellitus with a body condition score (BCS) of 6/9 or below
- Diabetes mellitus with a BCS of 7/9 or above until glycaemic control has been achieved

This diet is not recommended for:
- Puppies or growing dogs
- Pregnant dogs
- Lactating dogs
Feeding and Transition
When changing from another food, including Royal Canin Diabetic Dog, a gradual seven-day transition is recommended:
- Days 1-2: 75% current food, 25% Glycobalance
- Days 3-4: 50% current food, 50% Glycobalance
- Days 5-6: 25% current food, 75% Glycobalance
- Day 7 onwards: 100% Glycobalance
Glycobalance dry food can be fed as a complete meal or, where appropriate, combined or alternated with Royal Canin Glycobalance wet food to provide additional variety and help support hydration.
