It can be fed as a complete meal or alongside Royal Canin Glycobalance Dry Dog Food, giving you the flexibility to offer your dog a combination of wet and dry nutrition while maintaining a diet formulated for their specific nutritional needs.
Royal Canin Glycobalance is the nutritionally equivalent replacement for Royal Canin Diabetic Dog. A new recommendation from your veterinarian is required before purchase.
Key Benefits
- Supports Healthy Blood Glucose Levels
Scientifically formulated to help support the management of blood glucose levels after meals in adult dogs with diabetes mellitus. - Supports Muscle Maintenance
The Glycobalance nutritional approach includes a high protein level to help preserve lean muscle mass and support healthy body composition. Maintaining muscle mass is particularly important for diabetic dogs. - Tailored Fibre Blend
Contains a specific blend of dietary fibres to support glycaemic control. Dietary fibre can help slow gastric emptying and the rate of starch digestion, helping to moderate the post-meal blood glucose response. - Palatable Wet Formula
A highly palatable wet format helps encourage consistent food intake at mealtimes, while its moisture content can also contribute to your dog’s daily water intake. - Wet & Dry Feeding Options
Can be fed on its own or alongside Royal Canin Glycobalance Dry Dog Food, helping provide variety while keeping your dog within the same tailored nutritional range.

Important Information
The use of a new diet may affect a diabetic dog’s sensitivity to insulin. Blood glucose and insulin response should be monitored when starting or changing the diet, and insulin dosage may need to be adjusted by your veterinarian.
Veterinary recommendation is required before feeding Royal Canin Glycobalance. Your veterinarian can advise whether this diet is appropriate for your dog and how it should be incorporated into their diabetes management plan.
