Feliway Diffuser 
How it works: The Feliway Diffuser comforts cats at home using a copy of the feline facial pheromone, which is a natural pheromone cats produce when they are happy and comfortable.
Recommended for: Treating anxiety related problems in the home such as urine spraying, hiding or scratching.
How to use: Simply plug the diffuser in near where your cat spends most of their time inside and leave it on continuously. The diffuser covers an area of 70m2 and each refill lasts 30 days.
Things to know: Diffusers can be used permanently, or in anticipation of a stressful change in the house for your cat such as renovations or moving house.
Feliway Friends Diffuser (NEW)
How it works: The Feliway Friends Diffuser utilizes the Feline Appeasing Pheromone, which a mother cat naturally releases to her kittens to ensure harmony between her litter of kittens.
Recommended for: Reducing conflict between cats who live together, and avoid signs like fighting, chasing, blocking, staring.
How to use: Simply plug the diffuser in near where your cat spends most of their time inside sleeping and relaxing and leave it on continuously. The diffuser covers an area of 70m2 and each refill lasts 30 days.
Things to know: It’s important to ensure plenty of resources are accessible in a multiple cat household. It’s recommended that there is always 1 extra litter tray, water bowl, and scratching post than there are cats sharing a home (ie. 3 of each for a 2 cat household)
How it works: The Feliway Spray offers targeted and on-the-go comfort for cats using a copy of the feline facial pheromone, which is a natural pheromone cats produce when they are happy and comfortable.
Recommended for: Feliway Spray can be used for experiences outside of the home, such as trips to the vet or car journeys. It can also be used for targeted issues at home, such as helping discourage urine marking spots or encouraging cats to use cat flaps.
How to use: For urine spraying, thoroughly clean the area and then apply Feliway Spray once dry. Re-spray daily to reduce the likelihood of remarking. For car trips, spray your cats carrier 15 minutes before you pop your cat in. You can reapply every 4-5 hours.
Things to know: Don’t use Feliway Spray on scratching posts, as this will discourage your cat from scratching it. Always allow 15 minutes after spraying before introducing your cat back to the item/area.

My Girl has been spraying excessively. I did buy a Feliway diffuser & she even sprayed in the plug. We had the vet yesterday & she think last its anxiety. Im tempted to buy another diffuser to see if 2 would help. I’m a bit beside myself with all the spraying. Literally 5× a day its very constant. Think it started after my senior Burmese died. Luna is a 2yr old Burmese.
Hi there, I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. Constant spraying can be incredibly stressful, and the timing after the loss of your senior cat does sound consistent with anxiety.
Using a second Feliway diffuser can sometimes help, especially in larger spaces. However, given how frequent the spraying is, we’d recommend reaching out to Kiwi Vet Behaviour, who specialise in anxiety-related behavioural issues like this and work alongside your regular vet to create tailored behaviour plans.
