Description
TheΒ Manuka Vet Skin and Wound CremeΒ contains 80% MaΜnuka honey, plus lanolin and plant oils (citronella and rosemary). The lanolin increases the temperature stability, making it more pliable when cold and more viscous when warm, reducing run-off. In addition to this, the lanolin makes the crΓ¨me water repellent. The plant oils have natural insect repellent properties, impeding both flies and ants from making contact with the wound.
This sterile and filtered 100% New Zealand product has been independently certified as containing >350mg/kg of methylglyoxal, ensuring that the crΓ¨me has all of the beneficial attributes Β that comes naturally with high qualityΒ MaΜnuka honey.
The crΓ¨me is designed to be used on wounds that no longer need bandaging (such as distal limb wounds with a good bed of granulation tissue), those that donβt need to be bandaged (such as minor abrasions, partial thickness wounds and βmud-feverβ) and those that canβt be bandaged (such as wounds of the upper limb and body).

USAGE:
- Designed for minor wounds, wounds that are in a location that are difficult to bandage or wounds that are in the later stages of wound healing and no longer need bandaging
- Examples: wounds that have a healthy bed of granulation tissue, mild-moderate mud fever, minor abrasions, or wounds that can’t be bandaged
APPLICATION:
- Apply a thin film directly to the wound 2-3 times daily (not to be used under a bandage)
