Pro-Kolin+

Description

Pro-Kolin+ is UK and Australia’s biggest probiotic paste specifically targeting acute gastrointestinal disturbance.

Ingredients

•  Probiotic: Enterococcus faecium. The best studied probiotic organism in
  dogs and cats, with proven safety and efficacy.
•  Prebiotics: FOS and Acacia Gum. A unique blend of prebiotics which
  feed good bacteria right along the GI tract.
• Kaolin: a clay binding agent. Kaolin helps to remove toxins and pathogens,
  and firms the faeces.
• Pectin: a plant based polysaccharide. Increases the viscosity and volume of
  stools, has a soothing effect on the mucosa, and acts as an additional
  prebiotic.
• Flavouring: an artificial beef flavouring ensures good palatability whilst
  removing the risk of triggering a food allergy. No animal derived ingredients
  are used.

Indications

Any case of acute diarrhoea.

Directions

•  Give twice daily by mouth or in food.
• Give for as long as considered necessary by your veterinary surgeon (standard treatment course 2-5 days).
• Can be used from 2 weeks of age (under veterinary supervision)
• Dose according to weight:
• Rotate the dosing wheel until it is to the right of the number representing the desired quantity (diagram showing the correct administration of 10ml):
• Replace cap after use.

Storage

•  Store in a cool, dry place (refrigeration is not necessary)
• Pro-Kolin+ has a 2 year shelf life from the date of manufacture. Once open replace the lid and store in a cool dry area. Stored correctly Pro-Kolin+ will last until the Best Before End date even if it has been opened.

• Available in 15ml, 30ml and 60ml syringes
• Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
• Can be used alongside other medications, but should be given 1-2
