Description

Profender is the only spot-on Allwormer that kills every type of intestinal worm in cats. Used every three months, Profender treats lungworm and protects your cat and your family from gastrointestinal worms.

For the treatment and control of internal parasite in cats, including:

Roundworms
Hookworm
Tapeworms

Profender kills all infective stages of roundworms, hookworm and tapeworm. All with one easy spot-on treatment so you don’t have to endure the trauma of tableting.

And while it’s tough on worms, it’s gentle on your cat. It’s safe for kittens after 8 weeks of age and can be used during pregnancy and lactaction.

Dosage

For cats between 5-8kg, over 8 weeks of age. (Also available for cats 2.5-5kg)

How To Use

Topical/spot-on treatment to apply to back of the neck. Remove one tube from blister packaging. Hold tube in upright position, twist and pull off the cap. Turn the cap over and place the other end of the cap onto the tip of the tube. Twist the cap to break the seal and then remove cap from tube. Part the hair on the cat’s neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin. Apply only onto intact skin.

PROFENDER can be used during pregnancy and lactation. For pregnant cats, treat at mating, before birth of the kittens and then every 3 months.
If worm problems persist consult a veterinarian.
Do not administer by mouth. Avoid the recipient cat or other cats in the household licking the site of application after the treatment has been applied. If licked by cats, mild and transient neurological disorders such as ataxia or tremor may occur in very rare cases and transient signs of distaste (salivation and occasionally vomiting) may be observed due to the bitter taste. In very rare cases transient alopecia, pruritus and/or inflammation may be observed at the application site following administration of Profender. Shampooing or immersion of the animal in water directly after treatment may reduce the efficacy of the product. Treated animals should not be bathed until the solution has fully dried. The liquid vehicle in PROFENDER may discolour certain surfaces and fabrics. Allow the application site to dry before permitting contact.
