Feeding Instruction
Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie is a complete dietetic feed for cats, formulated to dissolve struvite stones and reducing their recurrence through its urine acidifying properties and its low level of magnesium. It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use. Feed Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie for 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones and up to 6 months for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence. The cat should be regularly re-evaluated by the veterinarian to assess the relevance of lifelong recommendations. In older cats, renal function should be checked before recommendation. Feline Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie wet is recommended for recurrent idiopathic cystitis. Water should be available at all times.
Recommended for cats with a tendency to be overweight in cases of: Struvite uroliths: dissolution and management of recurrence, Calcium oxalate uroliths: management of recurrence.
Product not recommended: Pregnancy, lactation and growth, Chronic renal failure , Heart failure , Hypertension ,Use of urine acidifying drugs
