Active Constituents:
Description and Pack Sizes: New Zealand green-lipped mussel extract 125 mg, thiamine (vitamin B1) 25 mg, taurine 100 mg, potassium gluconate 70 mg, yeast 50 mg in each round tablet. These chewable tablets are palatable and have a distinctive fishy odour. Available as 100 tablets in plastic bottles.

Action:
Green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) extract, produced in New Zealand, is a nutritional supplement that helps maintain the integrity of cartilage and bone. In addition, it will help maintain normal joint action and freedom of movement. These beneficial effects can be reflected in an increase of vitality. Taurine is an essential amino acid in cats and is fundamental in preventing heart and eye disease. Thiamine helps prevent vitamin B1 deficiency. Potassium gluconate helps prevent hypokalaemia, a diet-related deficiency in cats. Yeast is present as an appetite stimulant. BomaZeal Cat-Pep is especially formulated for cats and kittens to enhance their health and wellbeing.

Indication:
To ensure a full range of essential vitamins and minerals is available in the diet, while at the same time increasing vitality and promoting a shiny coat, bright eyes and overall good health. A maintenance dose of green-lipped mussel extract is present to increase palatability and to aid in the promotion of mobility.

Dosage:
For oral use only. Suggested daily dose is shown below.
CATS and KITTENS up to 5kg b.w: 1 tablet.
CATS over 5kg b.w: 2 tablets.
May be given in tablet form or crumbled onto food.
