How Does It Work?

Natural stool bulking​

Pumpkin fibre and apple pectin naturally support stool bulking and increase faecal mass.

Microbiome support for stool consistency​​

Apple pectin is prebiotic for the microbes of the GI microbiota enabling their proliferation. Supporting the production of microbiota metabolites, such as short-chain fatty acids, primarily acetic, propionic, and butyric acids beneficial for gut health. ​
​Bacillus velezensis C-3102 shows positive effects on faecal consistency, reducing faecal odor and  ammonia in dogs. This results in positive effects on the morphology of the gut mucosa, conveying an improvement in faecal consistency and a reduction in faecal odour and ammonia (3)

Supporting the immune response against inflammation​​

​Pumpkin contains vitamins, minerals, lipids and antioxidants with anti-inflammatory, anti- ulcerative and antimicrobial properties.
