Royal Canin Gastrointestinal is a precisely formulated, complete and balanced veterinary diet for dogs with acute and/or chronic gastrointestinal conditions.

Historically, many cases of gastrointestinal disease were managed with 24–48 hours of gastrointestinal rest. However, research has shown that prolonged lack of food can negatively impact the intestinal villi. Appropriate nutritional support plays an important role in both short-term recovery and long-term disease management.
