Description
A 10g/litre injectable solution of ivermectin for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites of cattle, sheep and pigs.
Please read the package insert completely before use. By law the user must take due care, obtaining expert advice when necessary, to avoid unnecessary pain and distress when using the product other than as directed on the label.
Dosage:
Cattle: 1 mL per 50 kg liveweight by subcutaneous injection only.
Sheep: 0.5 ml per 25 kg liveweight by subcutaneous injection only.
Pigs: 1 mL per 33 kg liveweight by subcutaneous injection only.
It is an offence for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the Food Notice: Maximum Residue Levels for Agricultural Compounds.
Withholding Periods:
Cattle producing meat and offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter during or within 28 days of the last treatment.
Sheep producing meat and offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter during or within 35 days of the last treatment.
Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded during treatment and for 35 days following the last treatment.
Pigs producing meat and offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter during or within 28 days of this treatment.
Ensure injection is subcutaneous. Intramuscular injection will result in prolonged residues. Where intramuscular injection may have occurred, animals producing meat and offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter within 91 days of the last treatment.
Precautions:
Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.
Adequate vaccination against clostridial infections is strongly recommended in high risk areas.
Store bottle in carton to protect from light.

CATTLE
Indications:
IVOMEC Injection given at 1mL/50kg liveweight provides effective treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms, (including inhibited Ostertagia ostertagi), lungworms, sucking lice and mites of cattle.
Persistent Activity:
IVOMEC Injection given at the recommended dosage of 1mL/50kg of liveweight effectively controls infections with Ostertagia spp acquired up to at least 14 days after treatment, Cooperia spp. acquired up to at least 7 days after treatment and Dictyocaulus viviparus and
Oesophagostomum radiatum acquired up to at least 21 days after treatment.
