Description

Purr is an oral nutritional supplement specifically developed for cats and kittens that contains high-strength L-Lysine. At 250mg of L-Lysine HCI per mL, the highly palatable paste reduces the Feline Herpes viral load and in therefore the associated symptoms. Due to the tasty Tuna & Malt flavour, the paste is highly palatable and is generally easily accepted by most cats. It can either be directly applied into your cats mouth, or on their nose/paw where it can be licked off.

There is no known cure for FHV-1 (Feline Herpes Virus), however L-Lysine can lessen the severity of symptoms and slow the spread of the disease by reducing viral shedding. For cat’s that are prone to recurrent FHV-1, it is recommended to use L-Lysine long term (under veterinary supervision).
