Dosage
Bravecto spot-on for medium cats is suitable for cats weighing 2.8-6.5kg.
Bravecto for medium cats contains 250 mg Fluralaner (corresponding to a dose of 40 – 94 mg fluralaner/kg body weight)
For use in cats from 9 weeks of age.
For optimal control of tick and flea infestation, the Bravecto spot-on* should be administered at 3 monthly intervals. Bravecto spot-on* can be administered all year round.
How to Apply
- Step 1
Open the sachet immediately before use. Open the tube by twisting the cap one full turn in either direction. The cap will stay on the tube; it is not possible to remove it. Once the tube cap seal is broken, the tube is open and ready for application. The cap does not come off. - Step 2
The cat should be standing or lying on its stomach for easy application. Place the tube tip on the base of the cat’s head. Do not use directly on any skin lesions. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes of the cat. - Step 3
Squeeze the tube gently and apply the entire contents directly to the cat’s skin. The product should be applied in one spot (cats up to 6.25 kg body weight) at the base of the cat’s head. It is important to deliver the solution onto an area that cannot be easily licked by the cat. As cats are fastidious groomers, they may inadvertently ingest product if easily reached. Ingestion may cause adverse reactions (see below) and will remove product from the coat. If multiple cats are treated and may mutually groom, it is recommended that cats are separated while product dries.
For optimal control of tick and flea infestation, Bravecto Spot-on should be administered every 3 months.
