Horse Wormer Availability Update February 2025: What’s In Stock and What’s Not

Lately, finding stock of your preferred horse wormer has been more and more challenging, with widespread stock issues across many of the most popular products. To help make sense of the equine wormer availability currently, we’ve compiled the latest update on stock availability for these essential products.

Currently In Stock:

• MecWorma & Bot Paste (Abamectin 3.64 mg/g) : Controls Large Strongyles, Small Strongyles, Ascarids (including adult and immature), Pinworms, Hairworms, Lungworms, Bots, Intestinal Threadworms, Neck Threadworms and Large Mouth Stomach Worms
• Ammo (Abamectin 4 mg/mL, Morantel Tartrate 167 mg/mL): Ammo Rotational Wormer controls both adult and immature forms of various parasites, including Parascaris equorum and Oxyuris equi, and targets the tissue stages of Strongylus edentatus, assisting in the control of migrating stages of Strongylus vulgaris.
• Bomatak C Plain Drench 1 Litre (Oxfendazole 90.6g/L): For the treatment of sensitive strains of roundworms, bloodworms, redworms and pinworms.
• Equest (Moxidectin 20mg/ml, Praziquantel 125mg/ml) : For the treatment and control of tapeworm, roundworms, adult and late encysted stages of small strongyles (redworms), and bots
• Equimax (Ivermectin 18.7mg/g, Praziquantel 140mg/g) : For the treatment and control of tapeworms, bots and roundworms (including arterial larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris and benzimidazole resistant small strongyles).
• Wormamec  (Abamectin 3.64 mg/g) : For the treatment and control of arge and small strongyles (Strongylus and Cyathostomum spp.) including arterial larval stages and benzimidazole resistant strains, bots (Gasterophilus spp.), cutaneous onchocerciasis and other nematodes including Habronema and Draschia spp. which cause skin lesions (summer sores).
• Fen-Iverquantel – (Each 30 mL syringe delivers 120 mg Ivermectin, 1500 mg Praziquantel, and 6000 mg Fenbendazole): For the treatment and control of adult and larval stages of the important internal parasites of horses, including adult and arterial larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris, adult and tissue larval stages of S. edentates, adult of S. equinus and Triodontophorus spp: Small strongyles, including benzimidazole resistant strains and adult and immature stages of Cyathostomum spp, Cylicocyclus spp, Cylicostephanus spp, Cylicodontophorus spp, and Gyalocephalus spp: Dictyocaulus arnfeldi (adult and immature), Oxyuris equi (adult and immature) Parascaris equorum (adult), Trichostrongylus axei (adult), Hebronema muscae, Strongyloides westeri, Gasterophilus spp. (oral and gastric stages) and Anoplocephala perfoliate.

• Abagel Plus – (Abamectin 4mg/ml and Praziquantel 50mg/ml) : effectively manages gastrointestinal roundworms, arterial stages of Strongylus vulgaris, small strongyles (including benzimidazole-resistant strains), lungworm, and bots in horses.
