Key Benefits
- 6 months flea protection – breaks the flea life cycle and helps prevent flea tapeworm infestations.
- 4 months tick protection – effective against paralysis ticks and other species.
- Provides protection against common external parasites including ear mites, demodex mites, and sarcoptes mange with just one dose.
- Convenient TWIST´N´USE applicator – no mess, no stress.
- Safe for breeding, pregnant and lactating dogs.
- Water-friendly – suitable for dogs that swim or are bathed regularly (avoid washing for 3 days after application).
How Bravecto Spot-On Works
Once applied, Bravecto’s active ingredient fluralaner is absorbed through the skin, providing long-lasting, systemic protection. Unlike shampoos or sprays, Bravecto works from the inside out, ensuring continuous coverage regardless of bathing or swimming.
Why Choose Bravecto Spot-On?
Longer lasting than Bravecto Chew – topical absorption means extended duration.
Flexible for owners – choose Spot-On if your dog is a fussy eater, or Chew if oral dosing suits your routine.
Fewer gaps in protection – only one application every 4–6 months helps reduce the risk of missed doses compared to monthly products.
88% of pet owners say Bravecto is more convenient than monthly flea applications

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why does Bravecto Spot-On for Dogs last longer than Bravecto Chew?
Bravecto Spot-On for Dogs has a unique formulation that provides extended protection compared to the chew.
Can I use Bravecto Spot-On for Dogs in growing, large breed puppies?
For rapidly growing, large breed puppies, we recommend the Bravecto Chew instead of the Spot-On. The chew allows for shorter application intervals, making it more flexible and accurate as puppies grow.
How can I choose between Bravecto Chew and Spot-On for Dogs?
It depends on your dog and your routine. Some dogs are fussy eaters, making Spot-On a better option. Others don’t like topical applications, so the Chew may be easier. Owners who want the longest possible protection often choose Spot-On, while those who prefer every 3 months (e.g., alongside worming routines) may choose the Chew. With Bravecto available in both formats, you can select the option that best suits you and your dog.
What are the advantages of long-lasting application versus monthly flea and tick products?
With monthly applications, it’s easy to miss a dose, leaving gaps in protection. Bravecto Spot-On provides continuous protection for up to 6 months, making it far more convenient and reliable. In fact, 88% of pet owners say Bravecto is more convenient than monthly flea applications. Longer coverage helps ensure consistent parasite control, reducing the risk of flea infestations in your home.
