Description
Royal Canin Diabetic Dry Cat Food is specially formulated to support the regulation of blood glucose in adult cats with diabetes mellitus.
Diabetes mellitus affects the body’s ability to produce or effectively use insulin. Insulin helps move glucose from the bloodstream into the body’s cells, where it can be used for energy. In cats with diabetes, glucose can remain at elevated levels in the blood, making appropriate veterinary treatment and nutritional management important.
Royal Canin Diabetic contains a carefully balanced combination of high-quality protein, reduced starch and selected carbohydrate sources to help manage post-meal blood glucose levels while supporting lean muscle mass.
